About the Event
Presented by: The New Teacher Project, this training gives Head Start leaders practical, real‑world strategies to strengthen every stage of the early educator workforce pipeline. Throughout this four‑part series, we’ll explore how to recruit strong candidates, support and retain great staff—especially newer educators—and build sustainable pathways that help people grow in their careers.
You’ll learn how to craft a compelling value proposition, tap into local talent pools, and design equitable recruitment systems that reflect the communities you serve. We’ll also dig into evidence‑informed approaches that improve program culture, support educator well‑being, and reduce turnover.
In addition, the series highlights how to build accessible educator pathways with schools and community partners, and deepens your understanding of high‑quality early childhood instruction—from early literacy and math to multilingual learner supports and culturally responsive, trauma‑informed, play‑based learning.
