| i. Affiliate Membership is open to all organizations/individuals (non-Head Start/Early Head Start) endorsing the purpose of the Association; ii. Each Affiliate Member shall be limited to one (1) representative; iii. Affiliate Members may vote but not hold an elected office. | |||
The purpose of the Association shall be to: 1) advocate for the needs of Head Start and Early Head Start children and their families; 2) act as a liaison with other public and private agencies that support the educational, health, and social service needs of young children and their families; 3) provide a forum for discussing statewide, regional, and national issues; 4) develop statewide collaborative efforts that help strengthen the delivery of services to children and their families; and 5) provide a communication link and a unified voice to statewide, regional, and national stakeholders.
